laptop

Filed under: travel — journeys @ 1:15 am

The battery of my laptop seems to be discharging at a faster rate lately. What usually causes that? It also gets hot easily. Oh well. Sometimes I wish I have a smaller laptop that weighs so much less than what I’m using now. It would be so much easier to bring it around and would easily fit in most of my bags. Anyway, I’ve got so much essential information inside my laptop, I hope it doesn’t conk out on me anytime soon.

making progress

Filed under: travel — journeys @ 12:31 am

We’re definitely making some major progress regarding our wedding planning.  We have actually booked most of the major suppliers.  I have yet to make our wedding site so kindly stay tuned for that.  Hopefully I get to squeeze in everything that I need to do.  My things-to-do list seems to keep on getting longer and longer.  Anyway, I’m just happy that everything is falling into place.  Hopefully the rest would go smoothly or in cases when we get to encounter some slumps, I hope we get to resolve them soon.

web hosting

Filed under: travel — journeys @ 1:30 pm

My hosting services would be expiring next January. I am thinking whether to renew it with the same provider or find another one. I have been reading some web hosting reviews over at webhostinggeeks.com and have learned a lot about other web hosting providers. It really helps a lot when you get to read reviews of actual customers using whichever services. It’s also great to be able to compare the features that they are offering. I have learned about the different web hosting types and is assessing which one do I really need. I have to evaluate my blogging goals in order to determine the web hosting specifications that I need. Well, right now I haven’t really decided yet whether to renew or pick another web hosting provider. I still got a few months anyway. Maybe by then I would be able to find a great promo so I can get the best deal. I make use of a few blogs and plan to build a couple more so it’s really important for me that the webhosting provider offers unlimited domain addition so I wouldn’t have to shell out extra money in order to host my future blogs. I’m just really thankful for sites which offer reviews. It really helps in decision making. Check out the site if you are in need of web hosting!

crossroads

Filed under: travel — journeys @ 1:23 pm

I’m at another crossroad. Since we plan to get married early next year, we need to come up with a big amount of money for the wedding and for buying stuff for the house (that we would probably be renting for the mean time). There are several opportunities presented to me recently and I still can’t decide which one to grab. I don’t want to be running around in circles. I need to decide what I really want. *Sigh*

dream home

Filed under: travel — journeys @ 7:06 pm

It would really be fun to design your dream home if money is not a restraining factor. I would want comfy and minimalistic pieces of furniture. I want a room with a complete entertainment system. Of course there has to be some lazy boy! We’ll also probably have a separate den with some rustic furniture which one can retreat to and enjoy some personal time. I would want a pool and a nice garden with a gazebo! I can go on and on about my dream home, but I can only dream for now. Hopefully someday this would all become a reality.

twisted ankle

Filed under: travel — journeys @ 9:06 am

I can barely walk lately because of my twisted ankle.  Booo!  It hurts so much whenever I walk so I keep it to a minimum making sure that almost everything is within my reach.  I practically stay on bed the whole day.  So what better thing to do on a boring day but to catch up on “How I met your mother.”  I barely get to watch this series but whenever I do, I usually enjoy it.  I’ve downloaded a couple of episodes and it’s certainly a great company for someone with a twisted ankle.

gaming

Filed under: travel — journeys @ 8:24 pm

I have barely played with our Wii in the past month. I guess the hype was over. I was really excited to have it and vowed to practice yoga more often. Unfortunately, I haven’t really been honoring that promise. I hope I get excited with it again. Anyway, I want to try other stuff like the XBox. What gaming console do you prefer? Heck, I haven’t even tried playing with a PSP.

reviews

Filed under: travel — journeys @ 1:15 pm

I know a lot of people who have tried numerous different kinds of diets. I am actually one of them. I know sometimes how one can get so hopeful before starting one, thinking you’ve hit the jackpot and have finally found the perfect diet, only to be disappointed afterwards. I guess it’s worth the effort to read some diet pill reviews first before starting on any of it. At least you would already have an idea of the effectiveness of the diet and what the possible side effects would be.

insurance

Filed under: travel — journeys @ 11:07 am

Have you finally decided to get yourself an insurance policy? Do you know where to get it already? It would be better if you have a friend who is an insurance agent whom you can trust and who can explain to you every detail about it. You can look at some insurance online so you can read about some information about it before you finally decide which one to get. Hopefully you would be able to get one which you can optimize the use of.
