home maintenance

Filed under: home — journeys @ 2:31 pm

I just love shop wiki! It gives me a lot of information about the stuff that I want to shop. Lately, I have been looking for housewares and home maintenance stuff. I really need some organizational containers so I can have something where I can put all my stuff. That would really make things easier to clean and organize. I plan to buy those as well as some closet organizer since my closet is really such a mess and it would really be nice to have those organizers.

My mom is coming home from a vacation in United States. I has been around a month and a half that it’s just me and my brother in the house. Since you cannot expect him to clean the house, it’s all me who does all the work. I can’t exactly say that I love cleaning myself. I feel lazy doing them most of the time but I try my best to keep the whole house in order.

Well, I admit that there are still a lot of clutters around that I hope to straighten out before my mom comes home. Home maintenance can really be quite a challenge but it can be much easier and even fun when you have stuff that can help you out. I think I need to get more of those organizational containers where we can put in all the stuff. That would make things more orderly. We would need more closet organizer as well so that the inside of the closet would be orderly as well. Having all these would make things easier for us to maintain the house to be clean.

Toys

Filed under: great finds — journeys @ 2:13 pm

Are you looking for some classic toys? If you are planning to buy some, I suggest that you visit Shop Wiki. The site would give you great ideas of what your options are. It’s really a great guide for buying. I always visit the site whenever I plan to shop. So in case you want to buy some stuffed toys or probably a doll house, visit the site first. I’m sure it would be able to provide you a lot of ideas.

I was cleaning my room a few days ago. It was not an easy feat since I have so much stuff around. I saw a few of my childhood toys in one of my closets. Well, there’s not much since I already donated my stuffed toys to charity a couple of years back. It was so much fun seeing other children enjoy my toys. At least they are put to good use rather than just displayed in my room.

I just realized that nowadays, most kids would ask for PSP or Wii rather than the toys kids used to ask. I think it would be great that kids still play with those classic toys that we used to play with rather than just spend hours playing with the computer. I remember being so fond of stuffed toys when I was still little. I play with them all afternoon and can’t sleep without my teddy bear beside me. When I got older my fondness didn’t dwindle and started buying for my own and widening my collection. One of the toys that I never had but always wanted is a doll house! I have always fantasized having a big one for my Barbie dolls! That would be pretty nice to play with. Maybe now that I can buy my own, maybe I just will. Nobody is too old to have one, right?

video games

Filed under: games — journeys @ 11:45 am

If you are looking for Video games, I suggest that you visit shop wiki! I’m sure the site would be able to help you out find what you are looking for. Shop wiki is the best! In case you plan to buy PSP or Wii, I suggest that you visit Shop Wiki and browse through so you would know what your options are.

Nowadays, children have a different form of having fun as compared to the previous decades when children prefer playing with other children on the streets. Those were the days that children play hide and seek and all those neighborhood games. But as I have observed, that is not the case anymore. Most children would be playing video games rather than playing on the street.

Video games have come to a different level already. Now, you can enjoy it while on transit! The PSP has become so popular since you can basically bring it anywhere. It’s so accessible that you can bring it even to work or at school and make use of it whenever you’re bored. My personal favorite is the Wii! They say video games make children fat since they are just sitting around and just exercising their fingers. Well, that’s not the case for Wii! You can make use of it and burn a lot of calories since you actually move like you are really playing the game such as boxing and bowling among a whole lot more of games. It’s really fun and addicting!

Go to England

Filed under: travel — journeys @ 11:06 am

One of the places that I have been dreaming of visiting is England.  It’s just a marvelous place.  I enjoy surfing sites which features this part of the world.  It has a vast colorful culture that I would surely appreciate to experience for myself.  There’s so much to do in England.  There’s so much parts of it that’s waiting to be explored.

It would probably so much fun to spend some Cozy holiday cottages in Westcountry or probably stay at some Private country homes in Devon.  Staying at some Family friendly cottages in Wiltshire is also an excellent choice.  There’s really a lot to choose from.  I’m sure that whatever you choose, you’d have an unforgettable sweet vacation.

If you are planning for your England vacation, you can get help from Viator in planning.  I’m sure it would be really stress free and all you have to do is to enjoy and savor your vacation there.  They have great deals that you can take advantage of.  You would surely want to optimize your vacation and that’s what you’re going to get.

putting up my garden

Filed under: home — journeys @ 11:40 am

Our fences have just been renovated along with some flower pots around the house. I’m quite excited to plant some flowering plants as well as herbs around. I do have a green thumb! I love beautiful gardens and I would love to have a nice one of my own. Maybe I should start getting some garden tools and start cultivating the soil.

I have o buy a lot of stuff actually. Maybe I can get a few more sacks of nice soil for planting. I would have to choose which plants to get and where to put them. Although I don’t think it’s a nice season to plant since it has been raining lately. It’s better to plant during the summer season. Oh well. I hope those that I would planting would survive the rainy season. Maybe I can get a couple of fertilizers to increase the possibility of my plants being healthy and surviving the rainy days.

I’m excited to see my garden full of blooming flowers as well as herbs that I can just get from whenever I need some. I plan to put some basil, rosemary, thyme, oregano, and lots more. Wish me luck on my new garden!

page rank decline

Filed under: work — journeys @ 11:41 am

Too bad my bad rank has declined.  This means lesser opportunities to get.  I’m just grateful it’s not entirely gone.  It’s probably because of the tons of paid posts that I have here.  I should really start making regular non paid posts.   Maybe I can start another website and start from scratch again. I hope I get to manage my time so I can better optimize my problogging.  This can really be a lucrative business if done right.  Even if it’s easy money, one still needs to be hardworking.

challenge

Filed under: personal — journeys @ 9:06 am

Another challenge has presented itself. A bride just informed me that she would be arriving only 2 weeks before her wedding instead of over 2 months. Well, that’s a big difference but it’s definitely workable. I have done that before so I’m not really worried at all. It’s just a matter or properly scheduling things. I don’t have any problems at all. I welcome the challenge. Bring it on!

movie time

Filed under: home — journeys @ 1:05 pm

I haven’t watched a movie for quite some time already.  Lately there have been great movies being shown. Well, I don’t have much time to devote to going to movies and my sweetie’s schedule doesn’t seem to fit as well.  I guess we’ll just get some DVDs of those pretty soon and just watch them at the comfort of our home.  Thanks to our projector, we can watch like we’re in the movies.  We can just microwave some pop corn and then we’re good to go already!  It’s much cheaper that way!
