My aunt has decided to move. They have been searching for a condo place where it is nicer and quieter. The house they are living at now can really get noisy since tricycles usually pass by their street and it can really be disruptive to one’s peace and silence. I’m not sure when they will be moving but I think they are already starting to pack their things already. It can be quite a challenge since they have lots of things already. I think they are starting to look for a moving company to help them out move. They have lots of pieces of furniture. And their kids have lots of toys, clothes, books, and other stuff. Anyway, I wish them well and hope that they enjoy their new home.

It would be nice to go camping again by the beach. I’ve only done it once and I would certainly want to do it again. Well since we have a baby that’s a bit impossible to do any time soon. Maybe we can instead do a backyard camping thing. It would be nice to have Nemo Sleeping Bags which we can use. Our baby can even join us, we just have to make sure that we put on some off lotion on her so she won’t be bitten by mosquitoes.

I’ve got a lot of friends giving birth lately. A lot are on their way too. I enjoying attending baby showers and baptisms. I’ll be attending one again pretty soon. I’m thinking what gift to bring. There are endless choices. I’m thinking which one would the mom appreciate the most. I’m thinking of getting something practical that the mom and/or baby can use like diapers, feeding bottles, or a breast pump. Baby toys are nice but I think it’s much more practical to give those from the necessity list.

Our friend is getting married in 2 weeks time. We still haven’t shopped for a wedding gift for them since we’re pretty much busy these days. One thing that I am addicted to is collecting magazines. Right now, I regularly buy Yummy magazine. I also collect (almost all) local bridal magazines. I love Martha Stewart wedding magazine. I have been looking at bookstores since the first day of the month and couldn’t wait to get my hands on it. Buying these magazines is just a guilty pleasure! I know they don’t really cost cheap, but they’re still so much cheaper than imported bridal magazines!

Have you tried smoking cigars? I remember my grandfather who loves to smoke cigars. I remember him having this wooden box filled with cigars and cigar accessory. He didn’t really get addicted to it. He probably smokes once or twice a day. I can’t say the same to one of my uncles who probably smokes a pack. I hope he cuts down a bit before he gets sick.

It’s great that there are a lot of wrinkle creams out there but of course one would still wish to grow old gracefully without having to use those wrinkle creams. But of course if the lines really start to show, it’s great that we have wrinkle creams to fall back on. Sooner or later you would really get those wrinkles, it’s really just a matter of time. So I guess to point really is to prolong getting them as long as you can.

I know some people have issues with having these kinds of procedures to be done on their bodies. Some argue that we should be thankful and respect what God has naturally given us. Everyone is unique and that uniqueness should be celebrated not altered. How about you? What is your view on this?

The usual ones who deny having undergone procedures are those who had breast augmentation. I’m sure you’ve heard a lot about this and have probably observed on your own. How can one deny these things? If you compare pictures of how they look like before and their appearance now, you’d immediately spot the difference! Some are actually beautifully and are not so drastic that it makes you actually wonder if it’s still natural or not. But some are really too obvious to deny.

My hubby loves to bike when he was a little younger, but due to a busy lifestyle nowadays, he couldn’t bike as much as he wanted to. We’d usually talk about biking together in UP during sundays (since sunday is “carless oval day”) or probably rent a bike in Quezon City Memorial Circle. Hopefully we can go biking again soon.

I miss watching my favorite bands play. I also miss jamming with friends. I remember back in high school my friends and I would hang out in the front lobby of our school. The guys would play the guitar while we sing along with them. Those were indeed fun memories with them. I’m not sure if any of them really pursued playing the guitar. Maybe one is part of band already owning one of those gibson les paul standard plus electric guitar. I wish we could do some jamming again.

I have just upgraded my Flickr account. I was surprised at how affordable it was. I would’ve upgraded sooner if I found out much earlier. Oh well. I still have to upload a lot of pictures I’ve accumulated. My foodie photos are scattered from Flickr, Multiply, and Photobucket. Now I can just store them all in Flickr! I just love their unlimited storage capacity and easy upload drag-and-drop tool. I would just need to devote some time organizing my photos and adding up tags so that it’s much easier for searching.

In around 3 months, we would be coordinating a wedding again. We’re still finalizing some details and making sure that everything will be place before the event. We’ll be meeting up with the point person for the venue this weekend so we can discuss the food, layout, lights and sound system. I hope they have eminence speakers to ensure the quality of sounds. The couple has already prepared a playlist for their reception. I hope everything goes according to plan.

I’m proud of my friends who have become lawyers already. I really was not expecting some of them would really end up being lawyers since some of them were not the serious type and was more of a happy go lucky person. But I have seen them persevered. It is unfortunate to anybody to get cancer. It’s unfortunate to the person who is sick as well as to the family and friends of the patient. Dealing with cancer is very hard, emotionally and financially (physically as well for the patient). There’s a lot of type of cancer discovered already. You can even get cancer due to asbestos, which would need some Mesothelioma treatment in order to control the cancer cells. I just hope and pray that nobody in the family gets cancer.

I barely get to go out of the house without our baby. Going to the grocery is such a vacation for me already. We need to replenish our goods already so I better make my list already. I have to make sure to buy staples which are easy to cook since I don’t really have much time to cook and we just end up eating something fried. Dad is currently building our house in the province. He’s been bringing his tools and other materials like drills, saws, folding crank handles, etc in doing some of the labor himself so as to save on cost. It’s good that we have some relatives helping him out. Hopefully they get to finish the house soon so we’ll have a rest house in the province and we’ll have somewhere to stay when we visit during the summer.
