no to drugs

Filed under: advocacy — journeys @ 8:21 pm

There are a lot of stuff teenagers have to deal with during their transition period from being children to being adults. It can be quite a struggle for some. If not guided correctly, some may be in experimentation end up trying smoking and taking drugs. This can be quite dangerous since even if they just started it just for the sake of trying ends up getting addicted to it. This can be quite alarming especially with the growing statistics of those needing drug rehabilitation. I just really hope that parents would be there for their children and be able to guide them while growing up and hopefully their children would be in the right mind to say no to drugs or they just might end up in a drug rehab.

help the addicts

Filed under: advocacy — journeys @ 10:27 am

Do you know anybody who is an addict? There are a lot of kinds of addiction. Some are into drugs while some are into alcohol. No matter what kind of addiction they are into, they need help in order to get over their addiction. If they are not given the attention and help that they need, they just might end up destroying their lives or end up getting all sorts of disease of even brain damage.

It is very alarming that the rate of drug addicts and alcoholics is increasing, despite a lot of information dissemination regarding the bad effects of drugs and excessive intake of alcohol. With the increasing drug use trends as well as alcohol, there are a lot of drug rehab and alcohol rehab that has been put up already. I hope those institutions would be able to effectively help these people. So in case you know of anybody who needs this kind of help, I hope you can influence them to go to drug rehabilitation center. They may be angry at you at first but I’m sure they will thank you after they have gotten their treatment
