car hire

Filed under: great finds — journeys @ 2:00 am

A friend recently got assigned for a couple of months in Italy. She was sent by her company to undergo training there. I admit being so envious since that’s Italy! And I have been wanting to visit the place for the longest time! It was fun seeing all her pictures of the places she visited while in there. I love reading her blog posts about her travels. She usually makes use of Car Hire Italy has to offer. It made it easier for her to get around. It was so convenient for her and really appreciated argusrentals for the great services that they offered.

Toys

Filed under: great finds — journeys @ 2:13 pm

Are you looking for some classic toys? If you are planning to buy some, I suggest that you visit Shop Wiki. The site would give you great ideas of what your options are. It’s really a great guide for buying. I always visit the site whenever I plan to shop. So in case you want to buy some stuffed toys or probably a doll house, visit the site first. I’m sure it would be able to provide you a lot of ideas.

I was cleaning my room a few days ago. It was not an easy feat since I have so much stuff around. I saw a few of my childhood toys in one of my closets. Well, there’s not much since I already donated my stuffed toys to charity a couple of years back. It was so much fun seeing other children enjoy my toys. At least they are put to good use rather than just displayed in my room.

I just realized that nowadays, most kids would ask for PSP or Wii rather than the toys kids used to ask. I think it would be great that kids still play with those classic toys that we used to play with rather than just spend hours playing with the computer. I remember being so fond of stuffed toys when I was still little. I play with them all afternoon and can’t sleep without my teddy bear beside me. When I got older my fondness didn’t dwindle and started buying for my own and widening my collection. One of the toys that I never had but always wanted is a doll house! I have always fantasized having a big one for my Barbie dolls! That would be pretty nice to play with. Maybe now that I can buy my own, maybe I just will. Nobody is too old to have one, right?

Baby stuff

Filed under: great finds — journeys @ 10:56 am

I have lots of friends who have either given birth lately or are currently pregnant! It’s so fun if you think about it. We are really in a different stage in our lives already. I do envy them a bit since I want a baby of mine as well. Well, it’s just a matter of time. I hope I get to marry the man of my dreams pretty soon and be able to start our own family.

Well, since there are a lot of baby related events these days, I was thinking of stacking up some potential baby gifts for them so that anytime I get invited to a baptism or a baby birthday, I’ll be prepared already. I know it can get pretty expensive to buy everything a baby needs so these celebrations really help a lot since you get gifts from everybody which cuts down what else you need to buy. I was thinking of getting some baby clothes or probably a stylish baby bag. I would prefer giving the essentials rather than toys. The kid wouldn’t appreciate it that much anyways. Maybe if they’re toddlers already, I’d probably start giving them toys.

I know that with the onset of emails, people now rarely send letters and cards via snail mail since it certainly is so much faster to just send it through email.  But I personally still love getting real cards and letters.  That’s why I still want a pretty nice Mail box to receive my mail.  I can imagine checking it out every day and finding letters and bills.  I want a unique Mailbox.

buying furniture

Filed under: great finds — journeys @ 8:37 am

My sweetie and I have been daydreaming about how our dream house would look like. It is so exciting just discussing about it. We seem to be agreeing as to how our house would look like. We were browsing through some internet sites which sells pieces of furniture and came across furniturefromhome.com. It was an awesome site! Hopefully we can have those kinds of pieces of furniture. Our house would definitely looks stylish with those. Too bad we still don’t have a house of our own or else we would have taken advantage of the dining room furniture for sale. We also liked some bedroom furniture from the site! Try to visit it in case you are looking for some pieces of furniture. They also have Home office furniture in case that’s what you’re interested in.

design your shirt

Filed under: great finds — journeys @ 10:57 pm

I remember having a school project before wherein we made our own shirt designs using a silk screen. It was a pretty cool school project, but I remember having a lot of mess doing it. It’s just fortunate that nowadays you can have your own design printed in shirt through an online screen printing site. It’s so fun and easy! So in case you have a nice shirt design in mind, just visit bluecotton.com so you can have it printed on a shirt. I’m sure it would really be fun designing since sky is the limit! You can be as creative as you want to have that unique shirt of yours.

custom shirt

Filed under: great finds — journeys @ 10:24 pm

What are the factors you think of when choosing a shirt? Is it the design? Is it the quality of cloth? Is it the color? We all have different preferences. I, personally, have a hard time finding the perfect shirt for me. It would either the wrong design or wrong color. It is just really great that now we have options to have our own custom t-shirts. Now you can design your shirt the way you want. What is extra good with this idea is that you would surely have a unique shirt of your own, without worrying that you might pass by someone in the street wearing the same design. That’s really cool, huh? I wonder what shirt design I will make.

unleash the power within

Filed under: great finds — journeys @ 8:12 am

This banner caught my attention as I was walking out of the Hot Air Balloon Festival last thursday. Actually 2 foreigners were taking picture of the banner as well and I got curious what it was all about. They were both chuckling while taking pictures. I understood their reaction when I looked at the banner.

It’s really funny how they can come up with concepts like these. What a catchy tagline as well!
